Many thanks to Dr. David Carey for his excellent public talk at Ashfield College about ‘What makes teenagers tick and how you can help your teenager succeed.’ Thanks to all those who attended and made the evening such an enormous success.

Dr. Carey trained in the United States in the 1970s where he studied with Albert Ellis, Ph.D., one of the pioneers of cognitive-behaviour therapy. During his course of study, he was enrolled in the Institute for Rational-Emotive Therapy in New York. He is also a weekly contributor to Newstalk’s Sean Moncrieff  afternoon programme where he is the resident parenting expert.

“Excellent evening. Really enjoyed the talk by Dr. Carey and also John O’Keeffe. Very informative and friendly evening. thank you.” Deirdre Sower
